I have been painting since I graduated from my degree at Camberwell College of Arts in 2006. My style incorporates the energy of abstract marks and gestures with figurative elements of observation. The mediums I work with include oils, acrylics and watercolour on paper, canvas and panel.
I have sold work to private collectors and taken on commissions which include portraiture. I thrive on being given the opportunity to interpret an image; a face, a body, or a landscape, and capture its essence.
I am a qualified Art teacher, having gained a postgraduate from the Institute of Education, London, in 2008. I also have a Masters from Birkbeck University, London, in the Curating Pathway of Arts Policy and Management. This enabled me to gain an operational understanding of the wider Arts Industry including funding bids and curating exhibitions in the public sphere.
