Nikki Foster is an artist based in Dublin working across painting, photography, and text. Drawing on diaristic references, her work transforms everyday scenes into spaces marked by tension, uncertainty, and quiet strangeness. Through an engagement with memory and imagination, she explores how personal experience shapes the emotional and political atmosphere of daily life. Her practice often unsettles the familiar, allowing ordinary moments to appear unstable, uncanny, and open to new interpretations.
